Green Smoothie Filled with Best Ingredients for Healthy Hair & Skin!

This delicious Green Smoothie not only tastes good but is great for your hair, skin and nails! Putting the right foods into your body helps you to feel better on the inside and look better on the outside. Having healthy hair, skin and nails is not just dependent on what products you use but also depends on what nutrients you are getting through food.

Ingredients

Serves 2

2 cups fresh spinach

2 cups water

1 cup kiwi (frozen for extra chilled green smoothie)

1 cup mango (frozen for extra chilled green smoothie)

2 tablespoon of chia seeds

1/2 cup plain greek yogurt

Directions

1. Tightly pack 2 cups of fresh spinach, blend spinach and water together first until all leafy chunks are gone.

2. Add Kiwi, mango, chia seeds and yogurt

3. Blend until smooth

4. Poor into a mason jar and store in the fridge for up to 2 days or enjoy right away

Why these Ingredients?

Spinach – High in iron, beta carotene, folate, and vitamin C. Vitamin C helps keep hair follicles healthy and scalp oils circulating to prevent hair breakage.

Kiwi – Antioxidants and Vitamin C

Mango – Antioxidants, vitamin C, vitamin A (improves skin complexion) and copper (keeps natural hair color looking lustrous)

Plain Greek Yogurt – Greek yogurt is high in protein, hair needs protein to stay strong, thick and prevent breakage. Protein could be one of the most important ingredients for healthy strong hair!

Chia Seeds – Omega 3 fatty acids, benefits skin and hair by helping to strengthen cell membranes barriers that allow water and nutrients in while keeping toxins out.
